CONSOLIDATING RESIN AGAINST HUMIDITY
Consolidating resin for dusty cement screeds; for the treatment against residual humidity for damp floors and walls; with the addition of fine sand, synthetic mortars are obtained for smoothing or quick repairs. For gluing, use exclusively our two-component glues PARQUET 0160 ECO, PARQUET 0160 GREEN
LINE, PARQUET T/56 or SILANBLOK SM.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Always check the humidity of the substrate with suitable instruments. The substrate to be treated must be compact and free from detaching parts. Any defects on the surface, such as cracks or crevices, must be treated by mixing fine dry sand (not marine) with PRIMER PU.
APPLICATION
Ambient at 20°C before use. The PRIMER PU must be applied with a brush or roller in abundant quantities to the first coat. Leave to dry for at least 3 – 4 hours in environmental conditions of 20 – 25 °C and 60 – 70% RH
(different conditions may lead to less than excellent results). Apply the second coat of PRIMER PU in the normal amount so that the product does not remain too much on the surface. If necessary, apply a third coat. To promote greater adhesion of the adhesives, spread a layer of fine, dry sand (not marine) on the last one
coat of PRIMER PU still fresh. After drying, before gluing, remove excess sand that is not anchored. Room temperature from 15 to 25°C, relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Always use adequate individual protection systems. Always consult the technical and safety data sheet of the product.
NOTE
Always make sure there is an adequate vapor barrier. It is important not to let more than 12 hours pass between one coat and the next in order to have a perfect bond between the various applications.
