Description
ADHESIVES RE 400/SP
Universal acrylic adhesive in water dispersion for coatings
resilient on absorbent or semi-absorbent substrates,
very long open time
¤Description
ADESIVER RE 400/SP is a thixotropic adhesive in dispersion
aqueous based on acrylic terpolymers characterized by a
very high dry residue, excellent spreadability and grip
initial. ADESIVER RE 400/SP is characterized by an open time
prolonged, therefore suitable for laying floors and walls
resilient, provided they are dimensionally stable. Specific for installation
indoors by:
- carpet and needle punched with any reverse as long as
dimensionally stable;
- linoleum up to 3 mm thick;
- vinyl floors supported by felt;
- PVC flooring in rolls or squares;
- textile floors;
- semi-rigid vinyl;
- sheet rubber up to 3mm thick;
- PVC floors and walls;
- floors and walls in coconut with latex support;
- polystyrene floors and walls;
- LVT floors (luxury vinyl tiles).

¤How to use
FLOOR APPLICATION
Substrate preparation.
It is essential to ensure that there is no rising damp
from the substrate (crawl spaces without vapor barrier, damp walls, etc...).
Dry but dusty substrates must be primed
with PRYMER W, PRYMER SF 1105, PRYMER PUB 77 or
CHIMIGRIP suitably diluted (see relevant technical data sheets)
and subsequently shaved with the products of the RASOCHIM line
(see related technical sheets).
Cement substrates with too high residual humidity
should be primed with: PRYMER EPOX WETT, PRYMER WB 328
S, PRYMER SF 1105 or PRYMER PUB 77 (see relative sheets
techniques), sandblasted and subsequently shaved with the products of
RASOCHIM line (see relative technical sheets).
Semi-absorbent or non-absorbent substrates must be
always shaved with the products of the RASOCHIM line (see
relative technical data sheets), after preparation of the surface
with CHIMIGRIP as an adhesion promoter (see relative sheet
technique).
Do not lay on substrates that are not insulated from any rising damp
humidity
Laying on suitable substrates
Apply the adhesive to the substrate using the appropriate spatula
toothed, working it in order to incorporate any powder
residual.
Wait for the glue to dry (at least 10 minutes)
and proceed with the drafting of the squares or sheets. After
the final positioning exercise on the entire surface a
even pressure to ensure complete contact
of the adhering with the glue and to favor the elimination of
any air pockets.
Note
Always remove the coverings to be glued from the packaging
hour before laying in order to discharge tensions and homologate them
to the environmental climatic conditions. Any changes in the
times are attributable to different absorptions of the substrate.
Some tires may be polluted by substances
release agents or paraffins. A cleaning is therefore recommended
preventive with ACETONE THINNER.
¤Warnings
Protect from frost both during transport and storage.
Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures below 0°C
