ECOSTAR LINE COLORS
One-component water-based polyurethane pigmented varnish for
delimitation of the marking lines of sports floors
¤Description
ECOSTAR LINE COLORS is a pigmented polyurethane varnish
single-component water-based for delimiting lines
signs of wooden floors for sports use. The usage
of the paint varies from the demarcation of the playing lines
up to the delimitation of the edges and areas of the field. ECOSTAR
LINE COLORS has an excellent coverage capacity, excellent
adhesion, excellent leveling ability and does not require the
intermediate sanding between the different coats. ECOSTAR LINE
COLORS is available in different colors on request that can be mixed together
obtaining innumerable colors.

¤How to use
The surface on which the lines will be drawn must have been
previously treated with products from the SPORT range
LINE (follow the information given in the technical sheet of
ECOSTAR 2K SPORT).
It is recommended to use a suitable adhesive tape for
demarcate / delimit and border the lines of play or portions of
field, fixing it firmly to the ground to avoid the risk of
smudges. The use of "nautical scotch" is not recommended.
Proceed with the roller application of ECOSTAR LINE COLORS
after applying one coat of ECOPRIME 2K SPORT and one
coat of ECOSTAR 2K SPORT (see relative technical data sheets).
Apply a coat of ECOSTAR LINE COLORS on a surface
previously sanded with 220 grit paper or mesh. For one
best and most optimal application it is recommended to use rolls of film
blue fiber teflon coated.
Any imperfections, defects, inhomogeneities and poor coverage
are attributable to the use of unsuitable equipment.
Treat the entire surface with 1-2-3 coats of ECOSTAR LINE
COLORS (based on the fullness of the desired color), waiting
about 4-5 hours between coats, without sanding. Between the
second and third coat light sanding is recommended
with 320 grit paper or burgundy scotch brite.
It is advisable to plan the work in such a way as not to exceed the
24 hours between coats of ECOSTAR LINE COLORS.
After application, remove the adhesive tape immediately
and, when completely dry (12-24 hours), sand the whole
surface with 320 grit paper or mesh. Then proceed with
the application of the final coat of ECOSTAR 2K SPORT (see
relevant technical sheet).
NOTE:
ECOSTAR LINE COLORS must never be used as
final treatment for wooden floors. ECOSTAR
LINE COLORS must not be diluted; adhesive plasticizers
rubber-based found on some types of adhesive tapes
used for demarcation can damage the films of
polyurethane paint, its use is therefore not recommended. The tapes
