DESCRIPTION
Water-based polyurethane finish for treating wooden floors.
Thanks to the DCS Dual Curing System technology, EZY is able to crosslink both as a single-component and, after adding its hardener, as a two-component. Thanks to this particular "double cross-linking" EZY stands out for its fast drying when used as a single-component directly on wood (ideal for extremely rapid cycles) and, if used as a two-component, for its high resistance to abrasion, scuffing and chemical products which make it ideal for the treatment of high traffic areas (halls, shops). EZY also stands out for the ease of mixing the 2 components even by simply introducing component B into the container of component A, stirring without particular precautions.
Available in 10, 30 and 60 gloss, it maintains the effect of natural wood thanks to its high transparency, guaranteeing excellent covering and filling power, even with just two coats applied (first one-component coat and second two-component coat). The excellent distension of the film, even in high thicknesses, completes the characteristics of a unique product of its kind which guarantees an excellent aesthetic result even in the most extreme environmental conditions.
APPLICATION
RAPID CYCLE: apply a first coat of single-component EZY directly on the wood and, after about 3/5 hours, sand with fine mesh (180/220 grit). Mix component A with component B of EZY, in the prescribed proportions, even by simply shaking inside the container, then apply the second coat evenly.
CLASSIC CYCLE: before proceeding with application, the surface must be treated with a water-based primer or a Vermeister two-component solvent-based primer.
In the latter case it is necessary to bear in mind that wood essences subject to strong oxidation (doussiè, iroko, etc.) take on much darker colors when painted with solvent-based primers. For this reason, the barrier created by the polyurethane primer must be continuous and homogeneous over the entire surface in order to avoid the formation of unsightly lighter stains over time. Therefore, be careful not to 'break through' the primer layer when sanding. Mix component A with component B, in the prescribed proportions, even by simply shaking inside the container. Apply EZY evenly.
Usually at this point the painting is completed. If it is necessary to apply a further coat, it can be done after 2-5 hours without sanding. If the overcoating time goes beyond 5 hours, it is necessary to sand it before applying the paint in order to prevent detachment phenomena. The use of EZY on solvent-based semi-gloss/matt moisture-hardening polyurethane finishes is not recommended to avoid flaking phenomena in the case of insufficient sanding. It is possible to dilute, after having mixed the two components, with 5-10% of SOLUTION, in case you want a
longer open time. Greater dilutions could cause the loss of hiding power with the consequent appearance of unevenness in the finish.
MAINTENANCE
The maintenance of painted floors must be carried out exclusively with NEUTRAL DETERGENT and/or IDRONET. Do not use alcohol, ammonia and hard surface cleaners. For further details consult the MAINTENANCE SHEET. NOTE
IMPORTANT: USE ONLY THE APPROPRIATE COMPONENT B. Do not put any leftover product back into the packaging!. The application of single-component water-based products on solvent-based primers and varnishes could cause detachment phenomena if the sanding was done too lightly. We therefore recommend using two-component water-based paints from the Vermeister line in these cases. In the case of use on exotic and/or little-known woods, it is advisable to always carry out preliminary tests as on certain woods (e.g. IPE LAPACHO) the application of water-based varnishes directly on the wood or on
not perfectly insulating substrates can cause strong reddening of the film.

COMPLETE CURING: waiting time before being able to fully use the flooring: for example, moving house, allowing other workers to carry out work, starting floor maintenance, etc.
