Description

Factor B-210 aging reagent - graying agent for internal wood

A reagent capable of giving artefacts an aging/greying action. Specific color effects are obtained based on the type of wood and the different dilutions of the product.

FACTOR B-210 is an acid solution that gives the artefacts a basic aging/greying action, in preparation for the subsequent impregnating treatment. It has a unique personality that, combined with other products, produces distinct and original aesthetic results. The visual result is also influenced by the type and origin of the wood.

FACTOR B-210 applied directly on larch (after 12/24 hours) produces a "greenish grey" shade, while on oak (after 12/24 hours) it creates a "smoky grey" shade . Excellent for essences of oak, chestnut, elm, larch, and others.

Benefits

  • It gives a deep aging action to the wood.
  • It is miscible in water in any proportion to obtain various shades.
  • It can be overlapped with other (aging) reagents to create particular and unique effects.
  • Highlight the knots in the wood.
  • Highlight the differences between the various strips.

Directions

Shake well before use. Operate at temperatures between +10°C and +30°C. Avoid applying the product on very hot surfaces. It is recommended to apply the product industrially with a roller or sprayer. However, it is also possible to use it on already laid floors, especially if laid in a straight line. If you want a reagent effect, apply two coats of FATTORE B-210 at 40% + 60% water to obtain the best possible result.

Pour the solution into a tray and distribute it evenly on the floor following the direction of the wood grain, with a brush, very carefully. After the first application, it is possible to smooth the surface with scotch brite or a fine mesh.

After 12/24 hours, pass with 120/400 grit sandpaper or green/black or spp scotch brite to smooth the surface and/or create any nuances. Vacuum and, once the surface is clean and dry, proceed with the protective oil treatment.

Protect surfaces that could be damaged by the product.

Warning: never pour FATTORE B-210 directly onto the wood, as any drops or overlaps can create rings or obvious marks on the product.

Before proceeding on the entire surface, always carry out preliminary tests on at least 2/3 different strips.
