PRYMER 100

Quick drying, odorless polyurethane primer

¤Description

PRYMER 100 is a single component polyurethane primer
moisture-hardening, fast drying suitable as an anti-dust,
surface consolidation and vapor barrier of screeds
cementitious. PRYMER 100 is suitable as a dust remover on screeds
in anhydrite and with heating and cooling system
radiant.

¤How to use
Restoration of lean or dusting substrates
Vacuum the substrate dust very well. Apply one
coat of PRYMER 100 with a 6mm roller or a 3x13cm flat brush
or 4x14cm, in quantities equal to approximately 120 ÷ 150 gr/m² on a regular basis
and uniform. Absolutely avoid accumulations of product in the
deep subsurface cracks, otherwise total hardening
of the product itself will be drastically stretched with formations
of fragile non-stick films that alter the hardening of the
reactive glues until their complete catalysis is inhibited.
After 4-5 hours proceed with the laying of parquet using
only reactive adhesives: UNISIL, Adesiver ELASTIC, Adesiver
327 PU, Adhesive Hercules, Adhesive 501 EP, SIGOL.
In case you have to carry out subsequent smoothing with products
self-leveling or if parquet is expected to be laid in times
longer than those mentioned above, sprinkle with QUARTZ (0.8
mm ÷ 1.2 mm) the entire surface treated with primer again
fresh. Before applying the self-leveling compound or adhesive,
previously vacuum the sand not incorporated in the primer.
If the sandblasting operation is not carried out, it is necessary
vigorous sanding with coarse grain (36-40) before
drafting of levelers or adhesives.
Do not pour the product into the original container if necessary
advanced!
Vapor barrier
PRYMER 100 performs a good "vapour barrier" action on
substrates with residual humidity up to 5% with the carbide method
for screed thicknesses of 6 cm.
Thoroughly vacuum the residual dust from the substrate. To apply
the first coat of PRYMER 100 with a 6mm roller or flat brush
3x13cm or 4x14cm, in a regular and uniform way in quantity
equal to about 120-150 gr/m², absolutely avoiding accumulations
of product in the deep crazing of the substrate, otherwise
the total hardening of the product itself will be drastically
stretched with non-stick brittle film formations that
alter the hardening of the reactive glues.
After about 4-5 hours, apply a second coat of PRYMER
100 in the same way as before. Within the next 24 hours
proceed with the installation of parquet using only adhesives
reagents: UNISIL, Adesiver ELASTIC, Adesiver 327 PU, Adesiver
Hercules, Adhesive 501 EP, SIGOL.
If exposure times beyond 24 hours are expected, it is necessary
apply a third coat of PRYMER 100 and sprinkle with
QUARTZ (0,8 mm ÷ 1,2 mm) the entire surface treated with primer
still fresh. When applying the adhesive vacuum
beforehand the unalloyed quartz.
NB Anhydrite substrates and non-heating substrates
can be waterproofed.
