Description
PRYMER EPOX WETT
Three-component epoxy primer for creating a vapor barrier
on absorbent / non-absorbent substrates
¤Description
PRYMER EPOX WETT is a ternary resin-based coating
epoxy resin specially designed to waterproof
damp and fresh non-absorbent surfaces in order to make them suitable
for the subsequent laying of wooden floors. ¤ Uses: barrier
vapor. Withstands reverse hydrostatic pressure as rated
by the UNI 8298 part 8 standard.

¤How to use
The substrate on which PRYMER EPOX WETT is to be applied must
be solid, compact and above all clean; any residues of
grease, chalk and dust must be removed. If it comes
applied on surfaces in ceramic, marble, tiles, etc., it is necessary
previously sand in order to ensure the adhesion of
PRYMER EPOX WETT. Mix components A and B very well,
and only after obtaining a homogeneous mixture, add
component C (the use of the mixer is not necessary
electric). Spread the product thus prepared in an amount equal to
1 Kg/m2. The subsequent laying of parquet must be carried out
only with "reactive" glues, UNISIL, ADESIVER ELASTIC,
STICKERS 501 EP, SIGOL, STICKERS HERCULES, STICKERS 327
PU (see relative technical sheets). The time interval that must
spend between waterproofing with PRYMER EPOX WETT
and the application of the adhesive, must be between a minimum of
24 and a maximum of 48 hours; this in order to ensure a perfect
hooking of the adhesive to the waterproofed slab. PRYMER
EPOX WETT, as previously mentioned, is a coating
suitable for damp, non-absorbent boilers, in the case of boilers
damp absorbents and dusters, apply 1 coat of PRYMER
PUB 77 or PRYMER SF 1105 (see relevant technical data sheets) e
then apply PRYMER EPOX WETT. These hot pots
must have been prepared on a waterproofed slab
with PVC sheaths or with bitumen cardboard and the concrete casting
armed must be protected by a crawl space or a basement.
This is because there are no waterproofers capable of
withstand the osmotic pressure of the water that continuously migrates upwards from the underlying earth,
creating enormous pressures that make any vapor barrier unusable.
