¤Description
PRYMER SF 1105 is a two-component resin-based product
epoxy in water designed for the rehabilitation of boilers
dusters and for the creation of vapor barriers. Resists
to the reverse hydrostatic pressure as established by the UNI standard
8298 part 8. PRYMER SF 1105 is suitable for consolidation
of screeds with radiant heating. It is also suitable as
adhesion promoter for anhydrite substrates.

¤How to use
Restoration of dusting boilers
The substrate on which PRYMER SF must be applied
1105 must be clean, free from release agents
and free of cracks. Catalyze components A and B in
1:1 ratio and mix until completely homogenized
by manual or electric stirring. In the latter case
be careful not to form excessive foam. Dilute
possibly with 10% water before use.
Proceed with spreading a quantity of product on the screed
equal to approximately 150 g/m².
For poorly absorbent substrates, dilute PRYMER SF 1105
with higher percentages of water (up to 20%).
Adhesion promoter for anhydrite substrates
Sand the anhydrite substrate very well with coarse paper
until a "white" surface is obtained; vacuum thoroughly
surface powder and apply a coat of PRYMER SF 1105
diluted 10% with water by applying approximately 150 g/m² of product.
Vapor barrier
The substrate on which PRYMER SF 1105 must be applied
must be clean, free from release agents and free from
cracks. Apply a first coat of PRYMER SF 1105 by roller
equal to approximately 200 g/m². After hardening (6 hours) apply a
second hand equal to about 200 g/m². If the background was
poorly absorbent so the product forms a glossy film
superficial, spread by sowing during the drafting of the second
hand of quartz powder with a diameter of 0.6 mm whose excess
Do not pour the product into the original container if necessary
advanced.
Vapor barrier
PRYMER FAST 500 performs a good "steam barrier" action on
substrates with residual humidity up to 5% with the carbide method
for screed thicknesses of 6 cm.
Thoroughly vacuum the residual dust from the substrate. To apply
the first coat of PRYMER FAST 500 with a 6/8 mm roller
or with a 3x13cm or 4x14cm flat brush, in a regular manner and
uniform in quantities equal to about 120-150 g/m² avoiding
absolutely accumulations of product in the deep crazing of the
substrate, otherwise the total hardening of the product itself
will be drastically stretched with brittle film formations
non-stick products that alter the hardening of reactive glues.
After about 45-50 minutes, apply a second coat of PRYMER
FAST 500 in the same way as before. After about an hour
and within the following 24 hours, proceed with laying the parquet
using only reactive adhesives: UNISIL, ADESIVER ELASTIC,
ADESIVER 327 PU, ADESIVER HERCULES, ADESIVER 501 EP,
SIGOL (see relative technical sheets).
If exposure times beyond 24 hours are expected, it is necessary
apply a third coat of PRYMER FAST 500 and sprinkle with
QUARTZ (0,8 mm ÷ 1,2 mm) the entire surface treated with primer
still fresh. When applying the adhesive vacuum
beforehand the unalloyed quartz.
NB On anhydrite substrates and heated substrates
the application of PRYMER FAST 500 with "barrier" function
steam" cannot be performed.
