Description

¤Description

RASOCHIM FIBER is a fibre-reinforced cement premix

single-component gray powder to set and ad

quick drying, composed of special cements, fibers

synthetic and silica sands of selected granulometry.

RASOCHIM FIBER can only be used indoors.

By mixing RASOCHIM FIBER with water a paste is obtained

sliding cementitious suitable for smoothing

self-levelling high-strength and quick-maturing substrates

old and new. RASOCHIM FIBER is applied in thicknesses up to 10

mm per coat on sand and cement screeds or ready-to-use screeds,

primed anhydrite screeds, existing ceramic floors,

tiles, natural stones, clinker and stoneware.

¤Laying conditions

◊ Type of fund

Sand and cement screeds or ready-to-use screeds without any

priming, primed anhydrite screeds, floors

existing ceramic tiles, tiles, natural stones, clinker and stoneware.

◊ Status of the fund

Make sure that the substrates are dry, solid, free from dust,

removable parts, varnishes, waxes, oils, rust and traces of chalk.

Inadequately solid cementitious substrates must

be removed or, where possible, consolidated using

PRYMER W 30 K (see relative technical data sheet).

Dusty or very porous cement substrates must

be treated with PRYMER W (see relative technical data sheet)

or CHIMIGRIP diluted 50% with water (see relevant sheet

technique) in order to fix the powder.

Non-absorbent surfaces: apply CHIMIGRIP (see relative

technical data sheet) after cleaning with DILUENTE ACETONE or with

appropriate cleaners or wax removers.

Moist absorbent cementitious substrates must be

primed with PRYMER SF 1105 or PRYMER PUB 77 (see

relative technical data sheets) and subsequently quartzed.

Damp non-absorbent substrates should be treated with

PRYMER EPOX WETT or PRYMER WB 328 S (see related

data sheets) and subsequently quartzed.

Anhydrite screeds must be primed with PRYMER

W (see relative technical sheet) before they can be levelled

with RASOCHIM FIBER.

¤How to use

Dough preparation

Mix a 25 kg bag of RASOCHIM FIBER into the following

method: pour the required amount of water indicated in the item

"Mix ratio" into a clean bowl and add

powder gradually, mixing with a hand mixer, a

low number of revolutions, until obtaining a smooth, homogeneous mortar

and free of lumps; after 2-3 minutes, stir briefly:

the dough is ready for use.

The amount of RASOCHIM FIBER mixed each time must be

the one needed to be used within 45 minutes (at

temperature of +20°C). The residual moisture measurement must

only be carried out with a carbide hygrometer tool.

Applying the mix

Pour RASOCHIM FIBER on the substrate in a single coat

up to 10 mm by vigorously pressing with a spatula

American, squeegee or trowel to improve adhesion to the substrate

and then adjust the thickness. To improve adhesion and

therefore the thickness, any imperfections from troweling will be

eliminated by the self-levelling effect characteristic of the product.

If more coats are required, it is recommended to apply

RASOCHIM FIBER in rapid sequence (about 20-30 minutes a

depending on the temperature and the degree of absorption of the

background). After 24 hours, wooden floors can be applied

and resilient.

In the case of very large surfaces, respect all joints

existing expansion joints in the substrate, create joints

split every 50 m² approximately.

If the product is available in stock, the goods will be delivered within 24/48 hours.

If the product is not available in stock, the goods will be delivered within a maximum of 15 working days.
