Insulating mat made up of a special layer of PHYSICAL reticulated embossed polyethylene foam with completely closed cells, density 30 kg/m3, thickness 5 mm, coupled with a particular technical needle-punched fabric of approx. 3.5 mm which allows to obtain very high foot traffic sound insulation and good thermal insulation, in 8 mm thickness.
Fields of use:
Sonora Strong PLUS is particularly suitable for two-layer substrates and is applied over the light screed to fill the systems and under the floor bedding screed. Recommended for all applications where an increase in the soundproofing power of the floor is also required, it requires screed thickness of no less than 5 cm. For lower thicknesses it is advisable to reinforce the screed with a suitable mesh to avoid cracks in it.
