Description
Elastic adhesive
Single-component silane adhesive (MS technology)
¤Description
ADESIVER ELASTIC is a single-component moisture-hardening adhesive
based on silane-terminated prepolymers (MS technology).
It is very suitable for gluing pre-finished parquet onto
pre-existing floorings such as marble, terrazzo, ceramic,
tiles. Also suitable for gluing parquet onto substrates
with radiant heating. ADESIVER ELASTIC owns
excellent sound insulation characteristics. CERTIFICATE
EC1R, Ü-Mark compliant.
ADESIVER ELASTIC can contribute to achieving IQ
CREDIT 4.1 according to the GEV parameters of 03 March 2009
because it complies with the requirements of the LEED certification protocol
(Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

¤Installation conditions
◊ Background
dry, healthy, not dusty and not excessively rough.
◊ Substrate humidity
2.0% max for cementitious substrates.
1.7% max for cementitious substrates with heating
radiant.
0.5% max for anhydrite substrates.
0.2% max for anhydrite substrates with heating
radiant.
◊ Wood humidity
9%±2
¤How to use
The substrate, in addition to complying with local regulations
applicable, it must be dry, free of cracks, uniform and
completely cleaned of those components that could
jeopardize adhesion.
Proceed with the installation, taking care to align and tap the
wooden boards so that the adhesive adheres well throughout
the surface. Perfect adhesion to the substrate is guaranteed if
at least 65% of each wooden element is in direct contact with
the sticker.
In the presence of porous or dusty substrates, we recommend
the application of PRYMER A, PRYMER SF 1105, PRYMER W 30 K,
PRYMER FAST 500, PRYMER PUB 77 or PRYMER 100. The times of
waiting for the next installation changes based on the primer used
(see related technical data sheets).
For substrates with radiant heating and/or cooling
apply a coat of PRYMER SF 1105 (see relevant data sheet
technique) and after approximately 24 hours proceed with the application of
ELASTIC ADHESIVE.
In the presence of vitreous substrates (ceramic, glazed tiles,
polished marble etc.) degrease and carefully clean the
surface, taking care to eliminate any residual dust,
glues and waxes adhered to the substrate. Apply the promoter with a rag
LIQUID SANDER membership respecting the established times (see
relevant technical data sheet), then proceed with the application of
ELASTIC ADHESIVE.
For anhydrite substrates, sand very well with paper
24 or 36 grit abrasive; vacuum up the dust and prime with
PRYMER SF 1105 (pure) or PRYMER FAST 500 (diluted 30%
with DMC 50). The PRYMER PUB 77 can also be used on
anhydrite supports, respecting a dilution ratio of 70:30
with DMC 50 THINNER.
ADESIVER ELASTIC must be brought to room temperature
before being applied. Subsequent sanding can be
carried out after 3-4 days depending on the conditions
environmental and hygrometric conditions of the parquet. Possible
Fresh glue residues can be removed from pre-finished parquet
using a clean rag. If it doesn't run out
the contents of the can completely, proceed to the correct one
closing, using both caps supplied, in order to
avoid waste.
Note:
Do not apply ADESIVER ELASTIC in the presence of evaporative flows
constants.
