Water-repellent protective honeycomb for internal and external wooden products
Protects wooden surfaces from atmospheric agents, from the attack of mold and fungi and gives a waxy satin finish.
APILEGNO protects wooden surfaces from atmospheric agents and from the attack of mold and fungi. Suitable for both interiors and exteriors, it gives a waxy satin finish, enhancing its natural beauty. It can be used both on raw wood and as an extraordinary maintainer.
APILEGNO finds its ideal vocation on all wooden products such as: roofs, houses, fixtures and wooden structures of various kinds. Not suitable for walkable surfaces. In addition to protecting the wood, thanks to the combination of the various components included in the formulation, it gives a warm and soft aesthetic result.

Directions
Stir before and during use. In the colored version make sure there is no deposit on the bottom of the package. Operate at temperatures between +10°C and +30°C. Avoid applying the product on very hot supports, during strong winds or possible rain.
On a clean, dry surface (and if it requires preventive anti-woodworm treatment), apply 1 coat of APILEGNO with a brush or mohair float. Wait approximately 2 hours. If necessary, sand with 320/400 grit paper to smooth the surface.
Aspirate and apply another coat of product in the same way. Wait 2 hours and, if necessary, apply a third coat. The finishing coat must necessarily be neutral.
To treat larger surfaces it can be used by spray. In this case, wear appropriate personal protective clothing. If used by immersion it can also be diluted in water in different proportions, but in any case not higher than 50%. It can be used as a reinforcement on other types of impregnating agents (after removing parts that are not well anchored to the support).
AVAILABLE COLORS: Neutral, walnut, golden oak, chestnut, teak, mahogany, green and white.
After treatment, protect from water for at least 24 hours.
ORDINARY MAINTENANCE: for each wash use Mistrall or Oil & Clean (see sheets).
EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE: approximately once every 2/4 years with Apilegno.
ALWAYS CARRY OUT TESTS BEFORE PROCEEDING ON THE ENTIRE SURFACE.
Some curiosities
The oil, deeply impregnating the wood, guarantees effective stain protection and constant resistance to abrasion.
The characteristics of softness, brightness and naturalness of the wood species are highlighted.
The surface is free from the accumulation of electrostatic charges.
The original breathability remains almost unchanged.
Inhibits the development of parasites to restore optimal hygiene, upon direct contact with the skin.
It is durable over time: its aging process is slow but not degrading and if necessary, it is easily renewable without structural demolition. The oil treatment allows extraordinary restoration interventions, operating in areas and without chromatic differences.
Particularly suitable also for environments subject to intense pedestrian traffic.
Simplifies routine maintenance, excluding the use of aggressive and concentrated chemical solutions.
The cycle is considered bio-eco-compatible.
