Fireproof two-component polyurethane paint in class 1
¤Description
DUROLACK RF 595, class 1 fireproof product, is a varnish
polyurethane based on oil-free polyester resins, hardeners
isocyanates, solvents and flame retardant compounds for treatment
fireproofing of woody materials according to the DM March 6, 1992
which implements the UNI 9796 standard. The fire reaction class
conferred to these wooden artifacts treated as set out below
is equal to 1.

¤How to use
DUROLACK RF 595 catalysed in the indicated ratio, mixed in
evenly, and left "to rest" for at least 10/15 minutes,
it must be applied on the previously filled wooden material,
sanded and thoroughly vacuumed, according to the following
procedure:
* 1st coat: 150 g/m² of product mixed in equal parts.
* After 24 hours, sand with 150/180 grit sandpaper
(given the intrinsic peculiarity of the paint product
fireproof DUROLACK RF 595 the first "attack" of paper
it will be difficult, but later the sanding will have
a regular trend. This can be partially remedied

* 2nd coat: 150 g/m² of product mixed in equal parts.
* After 24 hours, sand with 150/180 grit sandpaper

* 3rd coat: 150 g/m² of product mixed in equal parts.
NB: the above quantities are the minimum required
to obtain the fireproofing of wooden materials according to the
MD 6/3/92. When you are unable to apply 450 g/m²
of DUROLACK RF 595 in just 3 coats is obviously possible
carry out further applications until reaching the
required weight.
In the case of spray applications, the
lost product; it is worth carrying out some tests for
quantify this loss.
It can be used for the maintenance of painted surfaces
water or water and pH neutral detergent; do not use solvents. The
CHIMIVER's technical service will be glad to offer any further
advice and assistance, however customers must make sure (if
necessary through appropriate tests) that the product is suitable for
their intent and meets their application and exercise needs.

dispute arising from the behavior of that product a
once applied.
DUROLACK RF 595 has the primary purpose of imparting to the materials
woody materials the "Fire reaction class 1" in compliance with the standard
UNI 9796 implemented with DM 6/3/92. From our tests the appearance
aesthetic is not penalized by the fire retardant paint product
but, given the enormous typology of wood essences used, it is
it is always advisable to verify the result with practical tests
the external appearance of the building.
This technical data sheet has been drawn up in compliance
to the manufacturer's declaration pursuant to the uni 9796/
CNVVF/CCI.
