ECOSTAR 2K Natural

Two-component water-based polyurethane varnish with a super natural effect for wooden floors

¤Description

ECOSTAR 2K Natural is a two-component paint with effect

super natural for oak and light woods. The use of special resins

with a controlled pH it allows the wood not to oxidize in the light and to

keep its color unchanged over time. A floor

painted with ECOSTAR 2K Natural it appears not oxidized and

extremely opaque (super natural effect). ECOSTAR 2K

Natural also has excellent chemical-physical characteristics and

it is also recommended for heavy foot traffic floors.

¤How to use

ECOSTAR 2K Natural catalysed in the indicated ratio and mixed

homogeneously, it must be applied on the wooden floor

previously filled, sanded and carefully vacuumed.

In critical working conditions (high temperatures, low humidity

or large surfaces) it is recommended to add DILUENTE DR H20 in

quantity 5-10% (see relative technical data sheet).

After 24 hours sand carefully with grit paper or mesh

220 and apply the second coat of ECOSTAR 2K Natural. For

to get the full natural effect it is recommended not to use

primers and limit yourself to two coats of product. An excessive dosage

of varnish would cause the increase of the gloss and the closure of the

pore of the wood with consequent loss of "naturalness".

ECOSTAR 2K Natural is particularly suitable for treating

oak floors, or in any case very light woods.

In the application it is essential that the paint is catalysed

"worked" very well along the grain of the wood. We recommend

carry out preliminary tests on each batch of wood. Not

use on dark essences (iroko, teak, wenge, etc.). He completes it

color stabilization of wood occurs when the second

coat of product is hardened (48 hours).

Ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance of floors

treated with ECOSTAR 2K Natural must be done with the products

of the VELUREX line (see relative technical data sheets).

Intensive maintenance of floors treated with ECOSTAR

2K NATURAL must be done with WAX CARE White (see

relevant technical sheet).

Note. Some materials may release gods over time

plasticizers which tend to settle under the paint film,

creating indelible stains or halos. It is recommended should they come

varnished particularly absorbent and/or flamed woods, of

apply a coat of ECOSTAR 2K SUPER OP (see relative

data sheet).
