¤Description
ECOSTAR 2K SPORT is a two-component polyurethane finish
water-based sports flooring. ECOSTAR 2K SPORT
has all the features of ECOSTAR 2K standard with the
advantage of having been formulated to respond to the highest demands
non-slip standard of wooden floors in sports centres.
ECOSTAR 2K SPORT complies with European standards for
surfaces for indoor sports areas, multi-sport surfaces for indoors
(EN 14904:2006). Hardness, relaxation, expansion, resistance
chemical and mechanical resistance place ECOSTAR 2K SPORT
top quality of the range.

¤How to use
ECOSTAR 2K SPORT catalysed in the indicated ratio and mixed
homogeneously, it must be applied on the wooden floor
previously filled, sanded, carefully vacuumed
and treated with a coat of ECOPRIME 2K SPORT (see
relevant technical sheet). In critical working conditions (high
temperatures, low humidity or large surfaces) is recommended
the addition of DILUENTE DR H20 in an amount of 5-10% (see relative
data sheet).
In roller application it is essential that the paint is catalysed
is "worked" very well along the grain of the wood avoiding the
product accumulations.
It is useful to apply a uniform layer of product, ECOSTAR 2K
SPORT, using an 8 mm microfibre roller.
The painting cycle consists in applying a first coat
ECOPRIME 2K SPORT water-based sports primer (see relative
technical data sheet), after 12-24 hours sand with abrasive paper
or 220/320 grain mesh and apply the first coat of ECOSTAR 2K
SPORT according to the expected weight. After 12-24 hours prior
sanding with abrasive paper or 220/320 grit mesh, apply
the second coat of ECOSTAR 2K SPORT.
Delimitation of signal lines
If necessary, delimit the marking lines for paving
sports on the first coat of ECOPRIME 2K SPORT and a first coat
coat of ECOSTAR 2K SPORT, after sanding with paper
abrasive or 220/320 grit mesh, apply one or more coats of
ECOSTAR LINE COLORS (see relative technical data sheet). End
the painting cycle by applying a further coat of ECOSTAR
2K SPORTS.
Ordinary maintenance of floors treated with ECOSTAR
2K SPORT must be done with VELUREX Cleaner SPORT SUPER
BACTERICIDAL ACTION (see relevant technical data sheet).
