¤Description
ECOSTAR 2K Antibacterial for resin floors is a
two-component water-based paint with bactericidal efficacy. The action
antibacterial properties of the paint was determined according to how much
dictated by the ISO 22196:2007 standard. The test, which takes in
consider the classic bacteria responsible for infections in
home environment including Escherichia coli (gram negative of
faecal origin) and Staphilococcus aureus (gram positive origin
skin), showed a reduction in the bacterial load al
98% on surfaces treated with ECOSTAR 2K Antibacterial for
Resin floors. For this reason ECOSTAR 2KAntibacterial for
Resin flooring is recommended in all domestic homes
and in particular in public buildings (medical surgeries, offices, etc.).
Applied on various surfaces, it creates a coating
smooth, transparent, tough, walkable, abrasion resistant,
to chemical agents and cold liquids (see certificates).
¤ Uses : ECOSTAR 2K Antibacterial for floors in
resin is indicated as a protective paint treatment in
following cases: coatings in epoxy resin, coatings in
epoxy cement, polyurethane resins on floors and walls,
high/low porosity cement and microcement. Avoid
use on floors where there is parking for vehicles.

¤Versions available STANDARD : antibacterial transparent finish for the treatment of resin, cement and microcement floors NO SLIP: antibacterial transparent finish for the treatment of resin, cement and microcement floors, certified according to the BCRA Method (DM 14 June 1989 N.236) . ¤How to use Avoid applying on substrates with constant rising damp. The laying surface must be perfectly hardened, structurally sound, dry, clean and free from grease and wax. In the case of old or previously treated floors, carefully wash the surface with VELUREX DEWACHS (see relative technical data sheet). In the presence of healthy substrates, apply ECOSTAR2KA Antibacterial for resin floors by carefully mixing component B in component A according to the indicated ratios (10/1). Proceed with the application of ECOSTAR 2K Antibacterial for resin floors following the quantity indicated above using an 8 mm roller. After 12 hours, by sanding the first coat of paint with 220/320 sandpaper or grit, it is possible to apply a second coat of product. In the presence of porous or dusty substrates, before applying the paint, apply a coat of ECOSTAR 2K Antibacterial for resin floors diluted 10-20% with water. In critical working conditions (for example: high temperatures, low humidity or large surfaces) it is recommended to add 5-10% DILUENTE DR H20 (see relative technical data sheet). The ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance of floors treated with ECOSTAR 2K Antibacterial for resin floors must be carried out with products from the VELUREX line (see relative technical data sheets). Notes To increase the adhesion of ECOSTAR 2K Antibacterial for resin floors and its resistance to water and alkaline substrates, the application of PRYMAREN (see relative technical data sheet) is recommended before the final painting cycle.
