Description
OIL WOOD TRAFFIC
Single-component oleourethane finish with oil-wax effect
¤Description
OIL WOOD TRAFFIK is an oil-urethane finish
single-component for parquet, characterized by resistance
to pedestrian traffic and wear comparable to that of an excellent one
solvent-based two-component polyurethane varnish. It confers to the
parquet a warm and soft appearance, typical of finishes
natural oil, but with extreme ease of maintenance. From
furthermore, it does not present any problems from an application point of view
since it expands very well, it does not create any overlaps or rejoins or joints
"bubbles", is fast drying and the opacifier is distributed
on the surface in an extremely homogeneous way.

¤How to use
OIL WOOD TRAFFIK is a ready-to-use varnish and must be applied
on the wooden floor previously filled, sanded and
carefully aspirated. After 24 hours, after sanding the
first coat with 220 grit paper or mesh, apply the second coat
of product. The simplicity of application of the product allows
to obtain a floor absolutely free from defects (rolling,
overlaps etc.).
OIL WOOD TRAFFIK turns yellow in the dark, therefore it is not recommended
the application on the light colors of the LIOS Bioil Colored line
(example White).
Sanding between coats must be done within 48 hours
hours. After 48 hours, to ensure perfect adhesion between coats
of paint, it is necessary to sand with 180 grit.
NB OIL WOOD TRAFFIK is a polymerisation varnish
oxidative; therefore it is possible that some wood species
very rich in extractives slow down the process markedly
drying; from our experience, for example, the IPÉ
LAPACHO inhibits the drying of OIL WOOD TRAFFIK.
The drying of OIL WOOD TRAFFIK is greatly slowed down
from contact with one- and two-component reactive glues, with
consequent permanent polishing of the joint. If it is
it is necessary to abut the tablets using vinyl glues from
PARKETTKOLL line.
Siri also reiterates that OIL WOOD TRAFFIK in environments with humidity
high ambient temperature, poor ventilation and different temperatures
of the same environments, undergoes significant slowdowns
in the hardening, causing a temporary stickiness of the
paint film.
Ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance of floors
treated with OIL WOOD TRAFFIK must be done with the products
of the Velurex or Lios line (see relative technical data sheets).
