¤Description

RASOCHIM MAXI is a premixed cement
single-component gray powder
hardening for thicknesses from 10 mm to 30 mm. RASOCHIM MAXI
can only be used indoors. Kneading RASOCHIM
MAXI with water a fluid cementitious paste is obtained
suitable for the realization of self-levelling smoothing at high
resistance and quick maturation on new substrates e
old, without undergoing any shrinkage, without forming cracks and
crazing, achieving high compressive strength,
to bending, indentation and abrasion. It can be applied to
sand and cement screeds or screeds made with products
ready for use, existing floors in ceramic, terrazzo, stone
natural, wood, clinker and stoneware.

¤Laying conditions
◊ Type of fund
Sand and cement screeds or screeds made with
ready-to-use products without the use of a primer, screeds
in primed anhydrite, existing ceramic floors,
tiles, natural stone, wood, clinker and stoneware.
◊ Status of the fund
Make sure that the substrates are dry, solid, free from dust,
removable parts, varnishes, waxes, oils, rust and traces of chalk.
Inadequately solid cementitious substrates must
be removed or, where possible, consolidated using
PRYMER W 30 K (see relative technical data sheet).
Dusty or very porous cement substrates must
be treated with CHIMIGRIP diluted 50% with water (see
relative technical data sheet) in order to fix the powder.
Moist absorbent cementitious substrates must be
primed with PRYMER PUB 77 (see relative sheet
technique) and subsequently quartzed.
Damp non-absorbent substrates should be treated with
PRYMER EPOX WETT or PRYMER WB 328 S (see related
data sheets) and subsequently quartzed.
¤How to use
Dough preparation
Mix a 25 kg bag of RASOCHIM MAXI in the following
method: pour the required amount of water, indicated in the item
"Dough ratio", in a clean container and add
powder gradually, mixing with a hand mixer a
low number of revolutions, until obtaining a smooth, homogeneous mortar
and free of lumps; after 2-3 minutes, stir briefly:
the dough is ready for use.
The amount of RASOCHIM MAXI mixed each time must be
the one needed to be used within 20 minutes (at
temperature of +20°C). The residual moisture measurement must
only be carried out with a carbide hygrometer tool.
Applying the mix
Pour RASOCHIM MAXI on the laying base in a single coat
from 10-30 mm by vigorously pressing with a spatula
American, squeegee or trowel to improve adhesion to the substrate e
then adjust the thickness. Any imperfections from spatula
will be eliminated by the self-levelling effect characteristic of
product. To improve the adhesion and therefore the thickness, if any
spatula imperfections will be eliminated by the effect
self-leveling feature of the product.
In the case of very large surfaces, respect all joints
existing expansion joints in the substrate, create joints
split every 50 m² approximately.
Glueable materials on RASOCHIM MAXI-based smoothing compounds
Ceramics, natural stones, recomposed materials, wood (wood
requires a smoothing of at least 4 mm), textiles, rubber, PVC,
linoleum (for a minimum thickness of at least 2-3 mm).
Intended use: interiors, industrial floors, commercial floors,
civilians.
