Universal Wax is a creamy blend of beeswax and carnauba wax in dearomatised aliphatic solvent. Ideal for the primer and finishing treatment of wooden floors and stairs, furniture and other unpainted wooden artefacts. Easy to apply and quick drying, it allows you to obtain a full, warm, satin finish effect and is easy to maintain. Universal Wax does not film, thus allowing the wood to breathe perfectly. Available in neutral, walnut and whitening versions
Application procedure:
Sand the wood as usual and finish with 120 – 150 grit abrasive. Thoroughly remove dust. Apply Universal Wax using a wax spreader or a cloth, taking care to spread the product on the surface, distributing it evenly without exceeding the quantity. If the wood is not very absorbent, possibly dilute with Greencleaner or RMD91 thinner up to 50%. After 2 – 3 hours apply a second coat, always thinly and uniformly, after 2 – 3 hours polish with a cloth, polisher or floor machine. In the case of previously waxed floors, a second coat is not necessary. A floor treated with natural wax can be appreciated in all its beauty only after repeated waxing which must be carried out approximately 20 days apart from each other. The waxing treatment can be preceded by an impregnation with Crema d'Olio, this treatment allows to achieve excellent fullness results in a relatively short time. Wait 5 – 7 days after applying Crema d'Olio before spreading and polishing the wax.
