Kera Koll product

MADE IN ITALY

DESCRIPTION

Certified organic mineral adhesive, eco-friendly for laying parquet
small and medium format, ideal for GreenBuilding.
Single-component water-based, solvent-free, with very low emissions of volatile organic compounds, respects the environment and the health of operators.

Slc Eco Forte develops a dough rheology that guarantees high levels of safety
for rapid laying of mosaic, industrial, lamparquet and even medium-sized strips of wood species
stable on absorbent substrates

INTENDED USE

High-strength laying of wooden floors of stable wood species:

Floors:

- mosaic
- industrial
- lamparquet
- strip
- end grain

Funds:

- cement screeds or screeds made with Keracem Eco or Keracem Eco Prontoplus
- wooden panels

Interior floors for civil and commercial use. Suitable for heated substrates.

Do not use:

For laying prefinished parquet and for laying solid parquet of very nervous woods (beech, maple, ash...). Outdoors or on substrates subject to rising damp; on heated substrates not suitably prepared, on anhydrite substrates and on non-absorbent substrates.

INDICATIONS FOR USE

Preparation of the substrates:

The substrates must be compact, solid, planar, not excessively rough and absorbent.
They must also be dimensionally stable, non-deformable, dry, free from rising damp;
without cracks, clean and free from release agents and dust.
Cement screeds or screeds made up of existing floors in marble, granite, ceramic or similar,
must have a maximum residual moisture content
by 2% or 1.7% if they contain heating systems.
Anhydrite screeds must have a maximum residual moisture content of
0.5% or 0.2% if they contain heating systems.
Cement screeds with high residual humidity (max 5%)
or which have superficial dustiness,
crumbling or weak parts must be treated with Slc Eco EP21 or Slc Eco PU31.
The substrates made up of existing floors in marble, granite, ceramic or similar
they must be thoroughly cleaned and treated with Keragrip Eco Pulep;
in case of high residual humidity (max 5%)
must be treated with Slc Eco 3CW.
Anhydrite screeds must be sanded and cleaned using mechanical vacuum cleaners
and treated with Slc Eco EP21 or Slc Eco PU31.
Absorbent substrates containing heating systems must
be treated with Slc Eco EP21 or Slc Eco PU31.
In general, anhydrite substrates and substrates containing heating systems
they cannot be waterproofed and/or leveled with cementitious and/or gypsum-based self-levelling products.
Non-planar or excessively rough substrates must be smoothed out
and/or rectified with suitable products
such as Keralevel Eco Ultra, Keratech Eco R30, Keratech Eco Flex
or synthetic mortars made with Slc Eco EP21 mixed with Quarzo 5.12.
Before using the products mentioned above, consult the relevant technical data sheets carefully

Preparation

Ready to use product. Stir before use.

Application

Trowel uniformly on the substrate with a suitable notched trowel (Slc trowel n. 2 or n. 4). Apply the adhesive on limited surfaces where the parquet can be laid on the fresh layer of adhesive by exerting adequate pressure to ensure complete and uniform contact with the adhesive, preventing it from rising up the sides of the elements. Leave an expansion gap between the wooden floor and the walls (or other vertical elements) of ≈ 7 – 10 mm.

Cleaning

Residues of Slc Eco Forte that are still fresh can be cleaned from surfaces with water. Tools are cleaned with water.
Once hardened, the adhesive can only be removed mechanically.

OTHER INDICATIONS

Allow the parquet to be laid to acclimate to the environmental conditions of the installation premises.
The humidity of the traditional parquet elements to be laid must be between 7 – 11%.
Before laying, measure the humidity of the substrate with a carbide hygrometer.
Before laying, measure the ambient temperature and the substrate, which must be higher than the minimum operating temperature indicated in the technical data
In addition to the indications given above, follow the specific instructions provided by the parquet manufacturer
