HIGH COVERAGE TWO-COMPONENT WATER-BASED BASECOAT
Two-component impregnating primer for wooden floors,
indicated as first coat for painting cycle
to the water. Fondo WB 2C offers excellent coverage,
excellent sandability and allows to minimize the
problem of overlaps thanks to its easy applicability.
The product is free from NMP and has a very low
content of volatile organic compounds (VOC).
HOW TO USE:
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The wooden floor must be well sanded, filled and
sanded, free of detaching parts such as oils, waxes, silicones. The
substrate to be treated must be dry, with humidity 8 –
12%. Ambient temperature from 15 to 25°C, relative humidity not
greater than 75%. After sanding, clean the entire surface
with a vacuum cleaner and then with an antistatic cloth.
APPLICATION
The wooden floor must be well sanded, filled and
sanded, free of detaching parts such as oils, waxes, silicones.
Ambient and shake the product thoroughly before use.
Add the hardener (component B) to component A
slowly under stirring and mix thoroughly.
Wait about 10 minutes after mixing the two components
before application. It is recommended to filter the product first
of use. Apply with roller or brush. After about 12 hours at CN
you can proceed with the finish with two-component ICE paint
(see technical sheet) after sanding with 220 grit e
cleaning of the entire surface with a vacuum cleaner and subsequently
with an anti-static cloth. Fund WB 2C, given the high
dry content, was designed to allow a cycle of
two coat finish. If it is deemed necessary, it is possible
apply a further coat of ICE bi-component varnish
after sanding. Always check the moisture content of the wood
8 to 12%, the ambient temperature from 15 to 25°C and the humidity
relative not exceeding 75%. Always use suitable systems
individual protection. Always consult the technical data sheet and
