Polymer-based rust converter
¤Description
RUST CONVERTER due to its particular
chemical composition turns rust into a compound
chemically stable organometallic, with a black and glossy appearance,
firmly anchored to the underlying metal. CONVERTER
OF RUST is normally used in the maintenance of
partially or totally oxidized ferrous objects and structures,
such as: gates, metal furniture, radiators, shelving,
shutters, gutters, railings, doors, fixtures, etc. It's ideal
for the rusty hardware used for the decking.
It is particularly indicated in the industrial sector for the
maintenance of machinery and oxidized metal superstructures
such as: sheds, storage tanks, silos, pylons, pipelines,
scaffolding and in any case in all those cases in which the dimensions of the
manufactured do not allow a sandblasting treatment for
remove rust.

¤How to use
The product comes ready to use but one is recommended
thorough stirring before use in order to obtain a
perfect homogeneity of the emulsion.
The application takes place according to the following methodology
recommended:
1) Remove all traces of dirt or grease from the support
existing, using THINNER ACETONE (see relevant sheet
technique).
2) Remove them with a wire brush or sandpaper
calamine flakes and non-adherent rust encrustations,
then remove the rust dust with a damp sponge
formed. The final result of the treatment does not suffer
modifications in the presence of damp or slightly damp surfaces
wet.
3) Apply RUST CONVERTER with a brush a
hard bristles, or with a roller or even with an airbrush, using some
an amount such as to wet the surface sufficiently
convert, and avoid overapplication.
4) Leave to react for about 24/48 hours in order to do
complete the transformation of iron oxides into a compound
black, shiny and dry, whose homogeneity of coloring
it will depend on the prior homogeneity of the rust layer
converted.
5) If necessary, apply a coat of varnish
high opacity to mask the differences between
area not previously rusted and areas converted with
RUST CONVERTER, if required aesthetic effect yes
recommends applying an anti-rust primer first and then a polish
aesthetic (also transparent).
Note:
If applied on ferrous metals, even if not oxidized, the product
however activates a surface conversion reaction which
results in a brownish coloration. It is still recommended
the application of RUST CONVERTER only on areas where it is
red rust (oxidation) present.
The product is to be considered "dust free" in one time
between 1 and 4 hours, depending on the temperature and the
degree of ambient humidity.
However, it is necessary to wait at least 36/48 hours to insure
the completeness of the polymer conversion reaction.
WARNINGS
Do not pour unused product residue into the container
If the product is available in stock, the goods will be delivered within 24/48 hours.
If the product is not available in stock, the goods will be delivered within a maximum of 15 working days.
