DESCRIPTION
Certified water-varnish, eco-compatible for the treatment of parquet, ideal for GreenBuilding.
Two-component, with reduced solvent content, very low emissions of volatile organic compounds.
Slc Eco Aqua-Pur HPX enhances the naturalness of the wood and guarantees very high levels of protection against wear
and from abrasion to subjected hardwood floors
even in extreme foot traffic.
INTENDED USE
high protection finish and high resistance to wear and abrasion of:
Floors:
- traditional wooden floors
- pre-polished wooden floors
- wooden floors to be restored
- bamboo floors
Interior wooden floors in civil and commercial environments.
Do not use:
Outside; on wooden floors subjected to prolonged or constant contact with water.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Preparation of the substrates:
Sand the parquet to obtain a smooth, clean surface free from oils, greases, waxes, silicones, old varnishes.
Apply Slc Eco Aqua-Pur flex (according to the indications provided in the technical sheet) to fill cracks and irregularities and/or to make the surface uniform and homogenize its absorption. After ≈ 1 – 2 hours sand with Slc Durasoft System (Duragrip 120) or with Slc Carbodur Sic 120 abrasive mesh disc.
Before applying Slc Eco Aqua-Pur Hpx, carefully vacuum up all the sanding dust and remove any residues with an Slc Pulex antistatic cloth.
The humidity of the wood must be between 9% and 11%. In the case of oak wood floors, heated floors, floors to be restored, dry woods, high ambient temperatures, it is recommended to apply Slc Eco Aqua-Pur Basic.
Preparation
Shake part A before use, insert the filter undercap and pour it into the suitably prepared tray.
remove the filter undercap before closing the tank.
Slowly add the hardener while stirring in the ratio Part A: Part B = 10 : 1 and mix well until completely homogenised.
Dilute 5 – 10% with clean water and mix again.
Leave to rest for 10 minutes before proceeding with the application.
Application
Apply Slc Eco Aqua-Pur Hpx with Slc roller Plus in two or three coats of ≈ 80 – 100 ml/m² per coat, depending on the desired touch finish.
Cleaning
Tools and residues of Slc Eco Aqua-Pur HPX can be cleaned with water
before hardening of the product..
