¤Laying conditions
◊ Background
dry, healthy, non-dusting and not overly rough.
◊ Substrate humidity
2.0% max for cement substrates
1.7% max for cement substrates with heating
radiant
0.5% max for anhydrite substrates
0.2% max for anhydrite substrates with heating
radiant
¤How to use
It is essential to ensure that there is no rising damp
from the background.
Clean the substrate to be treated, completely eliminating the
traces of oil, grease, wax or paint stains.
Dry but dusty substrates must be primed
with PRYMER W, PRYMER SF 1105, PRYMER PUB 77 or
CHIMIGRIP suitably diluted (see relevant technical data sheets)
and subsequently shaved with the products of the RASOCHIM line
(see related technical sheets).
Absorbent cement substrates with residual relative humidity
too high should be primed with: PRYMER SF 1105 o
PRYMER PUB 77 (see relevant technical data sheets), sandblasted e
subsequently shaved with the products of the RASOCHIM line (see
relevant technical sheets).
Semi-absorbent or non-absorbent substrates must be
always shaved with the products of the RASOCHIM line (see
relative technical data sheets, after preparation of the surface with
CHIMIGRIP as an adhesion promoter (see relevant sheet
technique).
Non-absorbent substrates with too much residual humidity
high temperatures must be primed with PRYMER EPOX WETT o
PRYMER WB 328 S (see relevant technical data sheets), sandblasted e
subsequently shaved with the products of the RASOCHIM line (see
relevant technical sheets).
Do not lay on substrates that are not insulated from any rising damp
humidity (crawl spaces without vapor barrier, damp walls, etc...)
Laying on suitable substrates
Apply the adhesive to the substrate using the appropriate spatula
toothed, working it in order to incorporate any powder
residual.
Wait for the glue to dry (at least 10 minutes)
and proceed with the drafting of the squares or sheets. After
the final positioning exercise on the entire surface a
uniform pressure using special rollers to ensure the
complete contact of the adherent with the adhesive and to favor
the elimination of any air pockets.
Notes: always remove the coverings to be glued from the packaging
a few hours before laying in order to release tension
and homologate them to the environmental climatic conditions. Possible
time variations are attributable to different absorptions
of the background.
¤Warnings
Protect from frost both during transport and storage.
Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures below 0°C.
Storage temperatures above +25°C reduce the storage time
storage stability.
