DESCRIPTION
High performance plant-based protective, resulting from the balanced composition of various oils, specifically designed for outdoor use. DECK.OIL STRONG enhances the characteristics of softness and warmth, notably highlighting the grain of the wood.
Its main features are:
Greater coverage than a traditional product;
Excellent toning;
deep penetration into the wood;
easy restoration: no sanding required;
protection against UV rays;
prevents greying, keeping the natural color of the essence unaltered;
protects wood from water;
suitable for floors and wooden structures both indoors and outdoors;
suitable as a protective agent on floors treated with COLOR.OIL (excluding light colors white and gray etc.)
APPLICATION
Prepare the wood using 120 paper as the last grain. Apply the product with a roller, brush or cotton swab. On the first coat, especially after treatment with DECK RESET, then on raw wood, apply such an amount (about 70-100 g/m2) as to reach complete saturation (the wood no longer receives the product and is completely soaked). After 5/10 minutes, if desired and in the event of an uneven glossy/matt effect, polish with a soft cloth or floor machine (white or beige disc) to remove any excess. If necessary, in case of complete and rapid absorption, to give greater protection to the floor, apply a second layer DECK.OIL STRONG within 3 days, taking care to dose a smaller quantity (about 40/50 g/m2) and to remove any excesses of product using the procedure described above. The duration of this treatment varies greatly according to the place of exposure and the intensity of foot traffic. In particular, floors exposed to the action of salt air and intense solar radiation will need more frequent interventions to restore the protective layer.
Excesses of product could cause stickiness and short duration of the treatment.
MAINTENANCE
Routine maintenance of a floor protected with DECK.OIL STRONG involves three phases:
- dusting with a mop or vacuum cleaner;
- washing with SOAP.OIL
- application of the protective OIL.CARE
At variable intervals depending on the exposure of the floor (approximately from 3-6 months) apply a layer of DECK.OIL STRONG following the same methods described above. Maintenance with DECK.
OIL STRONG does not require prior sanding.
The surfaces will be walkable again after 16 hours
