DESCRIPTION
Certified organic, eco-friendly adhesive for gluing tongue and groove joints when laying floating parquet and laminate floors , ideal for GreenBuilding.
Single-component water-based, with reduced solvent content and very low emissions of volatile organic compounds, it respects the environment and the health of operators.
Slc Eco B3 develops a highly water-resistant bonding of tongue and groove joints in the floating installation of prefinished parquet, planks, laminate floors, chipboard or multilayer panels.
INTENDED USE
Gluing of tongue and groove joints, in floating installation, of:
Floors:
- multilayer prefinished parquet
- planks
- laminate floors
- chipboard and/or multilayer panels
Bonding of various wooden elements
Interior floors for civil and commercial use. Suitable for heated substrates.
Do not use:
Outdoors, for the complete bonding of solid floors with M/F joints and solid parquet floors in general.
INDICATIONS FOR USE
Preparation of the substrates:
Substrates : they must be compact, solid, flat, not excessively rough and absorbent.
They must also be dimensionally stable, non-deformable, dry, free from rising damp; without cracks, clean and free from release agents and dust.
Surfaces to be glued : they must match correctly and must be free from dust, oils, greases, waxes and other release substances.
Preparation
Ready to use product.
Application
Apply Slc Eco B3 on only one of the parts to be glued, inserting the spout into the joint and pressing the bottle.
Join the parts immediately and keep them pressed long enough for the adhesive to harden.
Remove any glue that smudges from the joints immediately with a damp cloth.
In case of smudges on painted surfaces, the hardened adhesive film can be easily removed.
Cleaning
Residues of Slc Eco B3 that are still fresh can be cleaned from surfaces with water.
Tools are cleaned with water.
Once hardened, the adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
OTHER INDICATIONS
Allow the parquet to be laid to acclimate to the environmental conditions of the installation premises.
The humidity of the parquet elements to be laid must be between 5 – 9% for prefinished parquet.
Before laying, measure the humidity of the substrate with a carbide hygrometer.
Before laying, measure the ambient temperature and the substrate, which must be higher than the minimum operating temperature indicated in the technical data.
In addition to the indications given above, follow the specific instructions provided by the parquet manufacturer.
