Two-component treatment based on natural oils for wooden floors
¤Description
LIOS BIOIL 2K is a two-component treatment with high
chemical and physical resistances for the protection of wooden floors
to be applied in one coat. LIOS BIOIL 2K gives the parquet
excellent coverage, a warm and soft and extreme look
ease of maintenance. LIOS BIOIL 2K is formulated with oils
natural of vegetable origin, does not contain water, solvents and is
therefore to be considered a VOC FREE product.

STANDARD: to keep the floor natural.
COLORED: available in various colors and by sample.
¤How to use
Smooth and fill the parquet by sanding with abrasive paper
100/120 grit, then pass high pro felt for
obtain a surface able to absorb uniformly
the oil. Alternatively, finish the floor with sandpaper or
mesh grain 150. Thoroughly vacuum the surface to then
proceed with the application of LIOS BIOIL 2K.
Mix LIOS BIOIL 2K component A by weight with the component
B according to the indicated ratios until a mixture is obtained
homogeneous.
Proceed with the application of LIOS BIOIL 2K using
a floor machine fitted with a white felt/disc, pouring the
product in the central hole and not directly on the floor.
Apply LIOS BIOIL 2K evenly over the entire surface,
working it in a time between 5-10 minutes. Wait for
5 minutes and after that, using a white cotton cloth
positioned under the white felt/disc, go over the surface
with the monobrush to eliminate excesses and uniform the
flooring.
The floor treated with LIOS BIOIL 2K can be walked on in 24 hours
hours. The maximum resistance to foot traffic and liquids is
reached after about 15 days at 20°C and 65% RH, therefore sooner
to carry out any cleaning and/or maintenance work,
wait for this time interval.
It is possible that some wood essences are very rich in extractives
slow down the drying process.
In particular: ordinary cleaning using a soft cloth
"Maintenance cloth" moistened with VELUREX Cleaner Star (see
relative technical data sheet); to nourish and cleanse use LIOS
SOFT BALM (see relative technical sheet).
Extraordinary maintenance must be carried out with LIOS
TALITA Plus (see relevant technical data sheet) or LIOS BIOIL 2K, a
depending on wear.
It is not recommended to use rags/cloths that are too aggressive and/or
abrasives.
