Universal adhesive in water dispersion for gluing unpainted wooden floors, laminated parquet, lamparquet on concrete substrates or other types of absorbent substrates.
HOW TO USE:
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Always check the humidity of the substrate and of the wood with suitable instruments. The humidity measurement of the substrate must be done in depth (approx. 2-3 cm) with a carbide vial hygrometer in order to exclude the possible presence of highly hygroscopic substances (such as pumice, vermiculite), which can release the humidity contained in them resulting in swelling of the floor. Do not lay on screeds that are not protected from possible rising damp (always insert an adequate vapor-tight sheath). Lean or dusty cementitious substrates must be consolidated with our VINACOLL 201, which promotes perfect adhesion of the adhesive (see technical data sheet). Do not lay in rooms that are not equipped with windows or closures. Do not lay if the walls and ceilings of the room are not completely dry.
APPLICATION
Ambientate the product before use. Spread the adhesive on the substrate with a suitable No. 5 wide-toothed trowel, working it so as to incorporate any residual dust. The application of the adhesive should be done in small areas to avoid the formation of a surface film before laying the wood. Before gluing, always check the humidity of the screed which must be <2% (do not use PARQUET 290 on quick drying or anhydrite screeds). Room temperature from 15 to 25°C, relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Always use adequate individual protection systems. Always consult the technical and safety data sheet of the product.
NOTE
Do not use PARQUET 290 for laying prefinished parquet. When installing lamparquet or planks, avoid gluing the sides. Do not use PARQUET 290 on quick drying or anhydrite screeds (use the two-component PARQUET 0160ECO glue, after treatment with PRIMER PU).
