Description
Reactive BE-112 is an aging reagent for interior wood
Reagent that gives an aging/greying effect to the artefacts. The distinctive color effects are obtained based on the type of wood and the different dilutions of the product.
REACTIVE BE-112 is an acid solution that gives an aging/greying effect to the artefacts as a base, before receiving the impregnating treatment. Its peculiarity, combined with other products, produces unique and original aesthetic results, also influenced by the variety and origin of the wood.
Applied pure on larch and oak (after 12/24 hours), REACTIVE BE-112 gives a "greenish walnut gray" aging effect. Ideal for woods such as oak, chestnut, elm, larch, and more.
Advantages
- It gives a deep aging effect to the wood.
- It can be mixed with water in various proportions to obtain different colours.
- Can be overlapped with other aging reagents for unique effects.
- Highlight the knots in the wood and the differences between the strips.
Directions
Before use, shake well. Apply at temperatures between +10°C and +30°C, avoiding very hot surfaces. Industrial application by roller or spray is recommended, but it can also be used on already laid floors, especially if laid in a straight line.
For optimal results, we recommend applying two coats of REACTIVE BE-112 at 40% + 60% water.
Apply evenly to the surface with care, using a brush and following the grain of the wood. After the first coat, you can smooth the surface with sandpaper or a fine mesh.
After 12/24 hours, sand the surface with 120/400 grit sandpaper or a green/black mesh to create shades. Vacuum and proceed with a protective oil treatment on a clean and dry surface.
Protect surfaces that could be damaged by the product.
ATTENTION: never pour REACTIVE BE-112 directly onto the wood, to avoid obvious streaks or stains.
BEFORE PROCEEDING ON THE ENTIRE SURFACE, ALWAYS CARRY OUT TESTS ON 2/3 DIFFERENT STRIPS
