Description

Reactive FL-300 is an aging reagent for interior wood

It offers a reactive treatment that gives the artefacts an aged or grayed appearance. The chromatic effects vary based on the type of wood and the dilution of the product.

Reactive FL-300 is an acid solution that gives the artefacts an aged or grayed appearance as a basis for the subsequent impregnating treatment. It has a distinctive characteristic which, combined with other products, produces unique and particular aesthetic results. The aesthetic result is also influenced by the type of wood and its origin.

Reactive FL-300 applied pure on larch and oak (after 12/24 hours) creates a "hazelnut grey" aging effect. Ideal for essences such as oak, chestnut, elm, larch, etc...

Advantages

  • It gives a deep aged look to the wood.
  • It can be diluted in water in all proportions to obtain different colours.
  • It is possible to overlap it with other (aging) reagents to obtain unique and particular effects.
  • Highlights the knots in the wood.
  • Highlights the differences between the various slats.

Directions

Shake well before use. Operate at temperatures between +10°C and +30°C. Avoid applying the product on very hot supports. We recommend applying the product industrially with a roller or spray. However, it is possible to use the product on already laid floors if it is a running installation, acting in this way: if the effect you want to achieve is that given by a coat of reactive, to obtain an optimal result, we recommend applying two coats of Reactive FL-300 at 40% + 60% water.

Pour the solution into a tray and distribute it on the floor in the direction of the grain, (making it no more than one meter wide) evenly and using great care in the spreading operation. After the first application it is possible to smooth the surface with scotch brite or fine mesh.

After 12/24 hours, pass with 120/400 gr. sandpaper or green/black or spp scotch brite to smooth the surface and/or create any nuances. Vacuum and, once clean and dry, proceed with the protective oil treatment.

PROTECT any surfaces that could be affected by the product.

ATTENTION: avoid pouring Reactive FL-300 directly onto the wood, as any drops or overlaps of product can create streaks or clearly mark the product.< /p>

BEFORE PROCEEDING ON THE ENTIRE SURFACE, ALWAYS CARRY OUT TESTS ON AT LEAST 2/3 DIFFERENT STRIPS
