¤Description
The CH 21 IGNIFUGANTE SYSTEM is a fireproof varnishing system
class 1 composed of SEALER RF 182 and TOP FINISH RF 299; there
fire-direction class conferred to painted wooden artefacts
as set out below, it is 1 according to the Ministerial Decree of 6 March 1992 which
implements the UNI 9796 standard.
Determination of the coefficient of friction for floors according to
BCRA method (DM 14 June 1989 N.236).

¤How to use
FIREPROOFING SYSTEM CH 21, catalysed in the indicated ratio,
mixed evenly, and left "to rest" for at least
10/15 minutes, it must be applied on the wooden material in advance
filled, sanded and carefully vacuumed, according to
following procedure:
* 1st coat: 150 g/m² of SEALER RF 182 mixed in ratio
A/B=2/1 by weight.
* After at least 8 hours, sand with abrasive paper or mesh
180/220 grit.
* 2nd coat: 150 g/m² of SEALER RF 182 mixed in ratio
A/B=2/1 by weight.
* After at least 8 hours, sand with abrasive paper or mesh
180/220 grit.
* 3rd coat: 120 g/m² of TOP FINISH RF 299 mixed in
ratio A/B=2/1 by weight.
Total quantity of SISTEMA IGNIFUGANTE CH 21 = 420 g/m²(of which
300 g/m² of SEALER RF 182 and 120 g/m² of TOP FINISH RF 299).
The above quantities are the minimum necessary for
obtain the fireproofing of wooden materials according to the DM
6/3/92.
For the maintenance of painted surfaces use water or
water and neutral PH detergent; do not use solvents. Service
CHIMIVER technician is available to offer further advice and
assistance, however customers must make sure (if necessary
through appropriate tests) that the product is suitable for them
intends and satisfies their application and exercise needs. Of
consequence CHIMIVER denies any responsibility for any
dispute arising from the behavior of that product a
once applied.
The CH 21 FIREPROOFING SYSTEM has the primary purpose of conferring
to woody materials the "Fire reaction class 1" in observance
of the UNI 9796 standard implemented with DM 6/3/92. From ours
tests the aesthetic aspect is not penalized by the product
fireproof coating, but given the enormous typology of essences
used, it is always advisable to verify with tests
practices the result of the external appearance of the artifact.
Note.
In spray applications, the product must be taken into account
it is lost; it is advisable to carry out some tests to quantify
such a loss.
In curtain wall applications, check that the wood essences a
large cell do not create blowhole problems.
The TOP FINISH 299 finish, in the roller / brush version has a
brilliance of about 35 gloss.
The TOP FINISH 299 finish, in the spray / curtain coater version has
a brilliance of about 10 or 30 gloss.
The CH 21 FIREPROOF SYSTEM is not resistant to tyres.
