The solid wood skirting boards of Eternal Parquet are made entirely in Italy with fine AYOUS solid wood. before being painted, the skirting board must pass a series of rigorous checks after which a delicate plastering work is carried out (in the case of smooth lacquering) followed by several coats of white ANTI-YELLOW ecological lacquering, or (in the case of an open pore finish) a job of light brushing and subsequent painting.

We recommend gluing the skirting boards and fixing them with a few nails using a compressor and a nail gun or brads by hand.

NB skirting boards generally do not arrive "certified" at the ends and, in addition to having to be cut, they could also have small imperfections due to transport (the heads are not usually packed) or to the painting cycle (paint could have poured onto the head which prevents normal adhesion), so it is normal practice to have them at least 1cm thick during installation. This is typical of all types of skirting boards on the market.
