Description

SILANE ADHESIVE

Single-component silane adhesive specific for gluing all types of wooden floors on substrates
cement, on plywood or chipboard surfaces and on pre-existing non-absorbent floors (marble,
tiles, palladiana, wooden supports).
If applied evenly to the laying surface, WB MONO MS creates a waterproofing barrier
which helps to prevent rising damp from cement substrates.

TECHNICAL FEATURES:
- Single component
- 100% MS Technology
- High performance
- Suitable for gluing all types of wooden floors
- Easy to clean
- Free from isocyanates or amines
- Free from solvents
- Free from water
- Complies with ISO 17178: elastic

APPLICATION AREA:
- Absorbent and non-absorbent floors
- Traditional cement screeds and anhydride
- Calcium sulphate based screeds
- Absorbent and non-absorbent underfloor heating or cooling underfloor heating
- Metal surfaces (after appropriate degreasing)
On these surfaces can be glued:
- Solid wood elements without interlocking 10 mm (lamparquet) according to din en 13227
- Mosaic parquet according to the din en 13488 standard
- Solid lamella wood (industrial) according to din en 14761
- Solid wood planks with M/F joint with a maximum width of 18 cm or 20 cm with essence of oak according to
the DIN EN 13226 standard
- Multilayer prefinished floors according to the din en 13489 standard
- Cork flooring according to the din en 12104 standard
WB MONO MS if applied in a uniform and homogeneous way (forming a continuous layer) can act as a barrier
steam exclusively for the types of parquet indicated above with tongue and groove joints and on laying surfaces
unheated with residual humidity up to 4% corresponding to 85% ambient humidity.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The support to be treated must be compact, dry, clean, free from detaching parts such as residues of
wall paints, powders, waxes or similar and in accordance with DIN 18356.
Before laying, always check the humidity of the substrate and wood with suitable tools. The measurement of
humidity of the substrate must be carried out in depth (approx. 2-3 cm) with a carbide vial hygrometer in order to exclude
the possible presence of highly hygroscopic substances (such as pumice, vermiculite), which can yield
humidity contained in them with consequent swelling of the floor.
Humidity must be <2% for traditional screeds and <0.2% for anhydrite.
Do not lay on screeds that are not protected from possible rising damp (always insert a suitable
vapor barrier). On slightly porous screeds or based on calcium sulphate it is advisable to sand
mechanically the surface and suck up the residues of dirt, dust or detaching parts.
Dusty or damp cement substrates must be consolidated with primers (such as our PRIMER WB
PU), which favor adequate adhesion of the adhesive (see technical data sheet).
APPLICATION
Do not apply at ambient temperatures below 10°C (different conditions may lead to non-performing results
excellent results or a variation in drying times).
The product is ready to use. Apply WB MONO MS on the surface with a suitable notched trowel in a manner
and then lay the parquet by exerting adequate pressure. If the product is still fresh, yes
recommends removing any glue residue using a cloth.
Always use adequate individual protection systems.
Before use, always consult the technical and safety data sheet of the product.
