Description

SELF-LEVELLING

Self-leveling cementitious powder for smoothing irregular substrates.
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
- Fast drying
- Nanotechnological
- For internal use
- Thicknesses up to 10 mm per coat
APPLICATION AREA:
- New or pre-existing traditional cement screeds
- Anhydride screeds (after applying Pavilast K 31)
- Fast or semi-fast drying screeds
- Underfloor heating or cooling absorbent substrates
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
The substrate must be solid, rough, dimensionally stable, having already completed the maturation shrinkage, hard, clean and
free from dust, loose parts, paints, waxes, oils, rust, traces of chalk and residues of old adhesives used for PVC, carpet
or other.
Do not lay on screeds that are not protected from possible rising damp (always place an adequate sealing sheath on the
vapor). On slightly porous or calcium sulphate-based screeds it is advisable to mechanically sand the surface e
vacuum the residues of dirt, dust or detaching parts.
APPLICATION
Pour the powder (25 kg) into the clean water (6.5 kg) at room temperature contained in a clean container, stirring
with an electric stirrer until obtaining a homogeneous mixture free of lumps and with a spreadable density. The dough like this
obtained should be left to rest for a few minutes before applying the product with a special smooth stainless steel spatula
(American). Attention, a greater quantity of water causes white/yellowish spots and/or streaks to appear on the surface
which prevent any subsequent gluing; it also involves higher shrinkage which can cause cracks and fissures
and the detachment of the applied layer. When a second coat is needed it is advisable to apply it in an interval
between 3 and 6 hours from the first application and in any case when it is still damp. The thickness per hand
must be between 1 mm and 10 mm.
Before subsequent laying, check the degree of humidity of the screed <2% (<0.5% anhydrite). Room temperature from 15
at 25°C, relative humidity not exceeding 75%. Always use adequate individual protection systems. Always consult
the technical and safety data sheet of the product.
NOTE
If the substrate appears excessively dusty, it is advisable to pre-treat it with PAVILAST K 31 (see technical data sheet).
To obtain a more tenacious self-levelling product, add our ADECON K500 to PAVILAST R (see technical data sheet). Use
always our adhesives such as PELPREN PL6, EURO 5, PELPREN PL60E, EURO F1, MONOPARQUET or ADHESIVE WB
MONO MS\LE for laying wooden floors. For the installation of rubber, pvc or carpets, use only ours
PELPREN PL6-G, ADETAC M or ADETAC S adhesives.
